Thanksgiving turkey leftovers? Make a great spicy meal out of it.

Happy Thanksgiving! My favorite holiday of the year. A few days of prep for the one day feast, followed by a shopping spree accompanied with more food, followed by the weekend. What fun!

I am sure every household will have enough leftover turkey meat. The big turkey is supposed to feed your family and some other families on Thanksgiving day, and for a couple days after. At least that's what I see happening at several homes. Here's a great recipe to enjoy another day of turkey feast.

Holidays = Food. Exotic, tasty, fatty, happy, sensuous...

When it comes to food during the holidays no word aptly represents the stimulations it brings to our sensory organs.

So, what do you do?  Just go ahead, binge and worry about everything else until after the holidays?  Enjoy it whole heartedly and stay happy, without thinking about repurcussions of weight gain, hike in diabetes, blood pressure readings? Abandon them all deny your happiness? Is there an answer?

Yes. There is an answer. I would suggest the following:
  1. Don't avoid any of your desserts
  2. Have everything in moderation
  3. Have one dessert a day, or leave them for weekends and party days only
  4. Instead of whole servings go for a third
  5. If friends gift you chocolates or desserts, share them with others at the next party
  6. Don't purchase anything for yourself, purchase only for your friends
  7. Last but not least, EXERCISE at least 3 times a week right through the holidays
Result: Wait until you get on the scale on January 2nd. You will be surprised.
